At the last meeting we agreed that the general arrangements would be the same as last year (2005).
First of all – exhibitors should be paid up members of the Club for this year.
Prints for the exhibition should be mounted either in a frame or on card (proper photo mounting board is best if you can get it as thin card bends after being displayed for a while). Also bear in mind that the photos get warm in some locations and some tend to start peeling off if you have just stuck them on them with spray glue.
Photos should have been taken within the last four years. (The age of photos for the exhibition was discussed at our meeting in February – see my e-mail of 28/2/05)
Each exhibitor will have a double panel of the exhibition boards (ie. a top and a bottom panel – as shown in yellow).
Using all the boards we have gives us 11 sets of 2 panels, so up to 11 members can exhibit (if there are more then we can come to some arrangements!)
So prints can be up to about A3 size and you can have as many as fill your panels, nicely displayed of course.
In order to have some consistency in the captions, we agreed to do them as previously ie. Title, photographer’s name and contact number, some details about where the photo was taken, film type and equipment details, in font Comic Sans MS, as in the following example (first two lines 22 point and second two lines 12 point):

The captions can either be stuck on the frame/mount of the photo or printed on card so that they can be put separately underneath the photo. To enable people to match up the captions to the photos when the exhibition is moved from place to place, please write your name and the title of the print on the back of each photo.
